A friend recently sent me a link to a video on the website of the Nationalmuseum of Stockholm. The museum is holding an exhibition of Pre-Raphaelitism, noting that “Few people in Sweden know the Pre-Raphaelites”, but adding that the images will nevertheless be familiar. My initial thought was – that’s great; wonderful that there’s such international interest in it. And I still sort-of think this; however, the website’s information about the PRB is lacking in all kinds of things which I haven’t got time to go into now. But the video is amazing! The PRB do Jack the Ripper! So dramatic, somewhat  clicheed, everything one needs for a laugh.  Watch the video here.

NB I note that the exhibition is to be enhanced by “a lecture from an English guest”. I wonder who?
